A repeatable monthly system

A simple Google Business Profile posting schedule

Use one useful post each week. The goal is not to fill space: it is to answer a real question, explain what you do, reduce uncertainty, or share accurate timely information.

The four-week rotation

Week 1 · Answer one frequent question

Choose something customers genuinely ask before booking. Give a short, useful answer and make clear when the answer depends on the individual situation.

Prompt: “One thing customers often ask before [service] is… Here is what we normally explain…”

Good images: real tools, a prepared workspace, or an approved process detail.
Week 2 · Explain one service

Describe what the service is, what the first step involves, and who it may be relevant for. Use only details your business can verify; avoid guarantees and invented urgency.

Prompt: “Our [service] starts with… We then… To find out whether it fits your needs…”

Good images: equipment, materials, or a real team member with permission.
Week 3 · Show how the business works

Reduce uncertainty by explaining a real part of your process: consultation, preparation, quotes, arrival, privacy, accessibility, or aftercare.

Prompt: “Before we begin, we make sure… This helps customers know…”

Good images: a clean behind-the-scenes detail without private customer information.
Week 4 · Share a timely update

Publish confirmed availability, seasonal guidance, changed hours, a local reminder, or a genuine business update. Remove or update anything that expires.

Prompt: “This [month/season], customers in [area] may want to… Our current…”

Good images: an accurate seasonal scene, exterior, or current team detail.

A five-minute quality check

How often should a local business post?

A sustainable schedule is better than a burst followed by silence. One useful weekly post creates a manageable monthly rhythm for many independent businesses. More posts are not automatically better; relevance, accuracy, and a clear next step matter more than volume.

Build a reusable idea bank

Keep a private list of customer questions, service explanations, process details, seasonal reminders, team introductions, accessibility information, and genuine updates. Do not copy reviews into posts without permission, invent local events, or imply an affiliation that does not exist.
